Hello Elks Members,
I am excited to share this opportunity for your lodges to participate in a FUNdraising activity for WSEA therapy program with the Everett Elks Lodge. Please forward this announcement to anyone who can help promote the event at your lodge!
Attached you will find promotional materials and a sign up sheet (zip file) to join us for the Everett Aquasox game and all you can eat BBQ at the stadium on August 20th. Many of you will be in the area for the DD clinic that very day! The game is later in the day, so what would be more fun that a late afternoon baseball game after a hard day of work? Bring your baseball caps and get to this game!
The Details:
- Everett Aquasox Game, August 20 at Funko Field (about 20 minutes North of Lynnwood lodge)
- Reserved seating/BBQ cost is $26 for adults $20 for 12 and under
- Gates Open/BBQ(all you can eat hotdogs, burgers, chips, soda) at Pepsi Pavilion (on site) starts at 3pm
- First Pitch is at 4pm, An Elk will be throwing out the first pitch!
$5 for each ticket purchased(by your members or guests) will be donated on behalf of your lodge to WSEA therapy program.
Everett Lodge will contact each lodge and will pick up the final tally of ticket sales and money August 6 or 7. We can make special arrangements for lodges who are not open on those days.
Please promote the heck out of this event, we have the potential to make a big donation to the Therapy Program and if we have a good turn out get some really positive attention (possibly new members?) for all of our lodges!
Attached is a sign up sheet that can be printed at each lodge and used to track ticket sales. In Everett, we sign up members for events like this at our Friday night King of Clubs game or when we have an event that brings in a big crowd. We always have our bartenders remind people to sign up when they come to the social quarters during the week as well. We always have better attendance the sooner we start selling.
