Happy Month of Love from Everett!

I love the month of February, the month of love, admiration and appreciation to those around us. I have always loved the symbol of the heart. From an early age I doodled hearts and continue to spread love with hearts in notes and letters. The symbolism project states the symbol of the heart as “compassion and understanding,

life-giving and complex. It is a symbol for love. Often known as the seat of emotions, the heart is synonymous with affection. …💝 Hearts also carry senses of intellect and understanding, as well as connotations of the soul, along with strong will and courage.”

I am blessed to be a part of an organization that has heart-The Elks is a place that exemplifies love! From volunteering, raising funds, cleaning, organizing and cooking to hosting and planning events, writing grants, creating merchandise and social events I can proudly say that our lodges are full of love! THANK YOU for giving from your heart Elks family. I appreciate the talents and gifts you each bring to create an amazing Elks Club!  Happy month of love!

One of my favorite quotes from Helen Keller is “The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.” I challenge you to search in your heart as to what Helen’s important words mean to you. 💖
