Washington Elk Takes on the Pacific Crest Trail — and He Needs Your Support

A fellow Washington State Elk is doing something extraordinary. John Kristofzski, Past Exalted Ruler of the Tri-Cities Elks Lodge #2755, set out in March 2026 on a 2,650-mile trek along the Pacific Crest Trail — all the way from the Mexican border in Campo, California to the Canadian border in Washington State.

John’s mission goes beyond the miles. Every step of The Elk Journey is raising awareness and funds for the charitable programs of West Coast Elks lodges and the Elks National Foundation — supporting children with disabilities, visual screening programs, therapy services for families with special needs, veterans services, scholarships, and community grants across California, Oregon, and Washington.

This is one of our own out there carrying the Elks’ mission on his back — literally. Show your support, follow his progress, and consider making a donation at elkjourney.org.

Every dollar goes directly toward the work we all believe in. Let’s cheer John on — and help him show the world what Elks are all about.
