The Vancouver Elks Lodge #823 presents Elktoberfest, a community gathering of Bands, Brats and Brews in our big backyard, located just off McGillivray and Chkalov. This year will be even better than before with an earlier start on Saturday, a Kids Carnival game area, and a vendor marketplace.
This event will be held Friday, September 19th 4 – 10pm and Saturday, September 20th from 2 – 9pm. Enjoy local craft beer, traditional German fare, and lively local bands. All ages are welcome to join in the fun. The entry fee is $10 per person for 21 and up. Kids 20 and under are free.
Fridays music will feature: Robby Mayer playing music of the 60s to the present from 4-6 pm. Lip Bomb is a high-energy dance & rock band playing your fav 70s, 80s, 90s hits! Plus, the Best Kazooist in the NW! from 7-9 pm.
Saturdays music will feature: Same Old Schmidt playing all your favorite German polka tunes from 3-6 pm. One Eyed Kats will deliver a mix of blues/R&B/funk & R&R dance band from 7-9pm.
Join us in celebrating friendships both new and old. The City of Vancouver and Vancouver Elks Lodge #823 have been partners since 1904. As one of the oldest and longest running members of the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Vancouver Elks is committed to supporting our local community.
Over the years, the Vancouver Elks have contributed thousands of dollars in charitable donations. We support local youth with scholarships, scouting, and athletic leagues. We support veterans with Welcome Home kits, donations to veteran organizations and honoring our veterans with special events. We have supported those in need with food baskets, contributed to literacy programs and a myriad of other interests that directly impact the citizens of Vancouver.
This September 19th and 20th, please consider joining us for Elktoberfest, in the big backyard. This major membership drive of the year will offer food and fun and the offer to be a part of who we are. All ages welcome.
