CO-PAY ADVERTISING DESCRIPTION & INSTRUCTIONS

INTENT:

The intent of the co-pay advertising is to assist the lodges in making their membership and community aware of the various Elk activities, both social and benevolent, in an effort to increase current membership involvement and increase new member applications and initiation into our order.

TYPE OF ADS:

The following is a partial list of what the State Association Public Relations Committee will pay under the Co-Pay Advertising Program. Other Ideas are always welcome, pre-approval is always encouraged for new ideas.

50% Co-Pay:  Local & regional Newspaper Ads, Banners, Billboards, TV Ads, Transportation Ads, Local Want Ad Publications, Local School District Publications, Local Chamber of Commerce Publications, Local Athletic Publications, Radio Ads, Online Promotions, Magazines & More.

REQUIREMENTS:

The word “Elks” MUST be in the ad.

Alcohol is not directly mentioned or imaged.

Event Advertising must include; “Members and Guests Only” and comply with all Grand Lodge Statutes & media guidelines.  Legitimate membership drives may apply.

AMOUNT PAID:

For 50% co-pay advertising the Public Relations Committee will pay 50% of each qualifying ad up to a total of $150.00 per ad, until the committee budget runs out.

HOW TO APPLY:

50% Co-Pay: Lodges applying for a Co-Pay for advertising shall mail or email a copy of the actual billing statement and a copy of the ad and/or verbiage to the appropriate Washington State Elks Association Co-Pay Coordinator for reimbursement.
