WSEA Investing in Our Future

The Washington State Elks Association (WSEA) believes in investing in our future through scholarships designed to support students in their pursuit of higher education. Scholarships offered by the Washington State Elks Association, through funds from our Charitable Trust, are available to members of our community and high school seniors who demonstrate scholarship, leadership, and financial need.

Here are some of the opportunities available through WSEA:

 

WSEA Vocational Grant

The WSEA Vocational Grant is designed to help graduating high school seniors pursue their vocational education. This grant may be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies at Community College or Technical School and must be paid directly to the school they will be attending.

Application Deadline: March 1 to your local lodge.

 

Joseph Darimont Vocational Award

This $1,000.00 scholarship is designed to help any individual 18-50 years of age who is preparing to enter or return to the workforce. The Joseph Darimont Vocational Award may be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies at Community College or Technical School and must be paid directly to the school they will be attending

Application Deadline: March 1 to your local lodge.

 

Second Chances Scholarship, in Memory of Dorothy M. Yothers

To receive the Dorothy M. Yothers Second Chance Scholarship you must be a woman over 25 years of age who plans to pursue an eligible Vocational/ Technical course in the State of Washington.

Application Deadline: May 15.
