How it Works:

  1. Pick Your Passion:
    • There are gifts for every passion and interest – Veterans, Youth, Scholarships & the Therapy Program
  2. Choose your gift size:
    • Click on your passion and choose your gift size.  The Charitable Trust passions will take you to a paypal site, the Therapy Program passions will take you to a Donor Perfect site.
    • Choose your gift amount, include your personal information and membership number along with notes about any particular direction you want your gift to go towards
  3. Checkout:
    • Use your credit or debit card to make a difference in Washington State with your gift.

FAQ’s

  • Does my lodge and myself get per-member giving credit for this symbolic gift?  Yes! Every symbolic gift is credited to your personal membership number and your Lodge’s per-member giving if you include that information with your checkout information.
  • Does my donation purchase the item I select?  No. Items in Giving Washington are symbolic, and donations will not be used to purchase specific items. Your donation will be used to support all WECT and WETP items.
  • Is my donation tax-deductible?  Yes. The Washington State Elks Association Charitable Trust (WECT) and The Washington State Elks Therapy Program for Children, Inc, are public, non-profit, tax-exempt corporations as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Tax Reform Act of 1959. Donations are deductible for income and estate taxes.
  • Is it possible to give a symbolic gift as a present?  Yes. When checking out from the Giving Washington online store, you can designate the item as a gift in someone else’s name. If you have the email address of the recipient, please include it at checkout!
  • Will I receive a receipt for my donation? You will receive an email receipt after making a purchase from the Giving Washington shop.
